Death Angel is an American thrash metal band from Daly City, California, initially active from 1982 to 1991 and again since 2001. Working with the legendary Thrash band that I have been listening to since I was 16 was an absolute dream come true and a tremendous honor for me. 
 
For this release, the band put together a set list dubbed “The Bastard Tracks”. They then performed it in the middle of a pandemic at The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on May 22nd, 2021, and streamed it worldwide the following week. The Bay Area thrashers dig deep into their catalog to perform older favorites, newer classics, and songs that have never been performed live before.

In an exciting collaboration, Death Angel joined forces with TASCAM for a special giveaway centered around the release of their live album, “The Bastard Tracks.” Four fortunate winners had the chance to walk away with fantastic prizes, including a top-notch Bluetooth Speaker, headphones, and a copy of the live album itself. 

TASCAM, renowned as the professional audio division of TEAC Corporation, has been at the forefront of the Home Recording movement, credited with introducing the revolutionary “Project Studio” and inventing the groundbreaking Portastudio, the world’s first cassette-based multi-track home studio recorders. I took charge of promoting the giveaway across various platforms and handled all social media posts related to the event, from building excitement and announcing the giveaway to the thrilling moment of revealing the lucky winners.

Each album campaign I worked on had to be accompanied by an HTML/CSS-based landing page for the album’s release and pre-order. I collaborated with the Product Manager, Graphic Designer, Death Angel, and management to align the page design with the album’s branding.
 
To maximize organic visibility, I implemented SEO best practices, conducting thorough keyword research and optimizing meta tags, headings, and content. I included a section where fans could choose their preferred region and order the album from multiple Nuclear Blast regional stores. The landing page can be seen here.
